"What painter could paint a smile like daVinci? What writer could pen prose like Poe?

How about Sinatra? Can a singer be that good?  Sinatra hoped so."

”I wish that one of these days somebody would learn to do [my art] so it doesn't die where it is.”
               Frank Sinatra   1915 - 1998

Of all the singers working to perpetuate the craft, Steve Cardone is far ahead of the pack. You’ve simply got to hear this man sing! With a warm, luxurious tone and lavish vocal resonance, Cardone brings to Sinatra an inimitable spark not found in today’s repertoire of adult contemporary vocalists.  Best of all, Steve Cardone makes listening to music feel good.

And he’s not just another Sinatra singer.  Steve walked away from a lucrative career in opera to croon and sing swing, and he enthusiastically brings back to life Sinatra’s magic many have thought was lost.

In the studio and on the air, Steve’s been generating quite a stir.  His latest rendition of My Funny Valentine was an instant hit, shooting straight to the top of the Adult Contemporary charts. Along with other recordings, including versions of That’s All and The Way You Look Tonight, Steve reveals a hauntingly authentic, yet distinctive interpretation of Sinatra’s grace and eloquence.

What’s more, as if that’s not enough, Steve is also a rare Verdi Baritone, possessing the range of a bass, baritone, and tenor. With this kind of vocal spectrum, he’s quite capable of singing practically any genre he’d like.

Choosing Sinatra, then, is more than just a tribute; it’s a commitment to excellence and a self-imposed dedication to exceed the expectations of his peers, and surpass his own standards for musical distinction. Most important though, he wants to keep the old music alive to future generations.

Born in 1960, and a native Atlantan, Steve grew up most influenced by baritone Sherrill Milnes, Verdi Opera and, of course, Frank Sinatra.  He spent over twelve years as a popular opera singer with the Capitol City Opera Company, cultivating such a powerful voice that he’s now referred to as “the best Sinatra singer of our time.”  His performances with former

Vegas singer Ms. Claiborne Trinklein in Atlanta ’s Beluga Martini Club and the Modernaire’s Big Band Orchestra have cultured a magical delivery and stage presence.  Steve also spent over four years as a staff writer and demo singer with CDI Music Publishing in Atlanta where he worked on love ballads (his self-claimed passion) and published many songs through
CDI Publishing.

While perfecting the Sinatra craft, Steve plays for major corporate events, clubs, and private venues with passion, clarity, and dedication to the art of classic pop performances.  Currently, he’s also works as a nighttime TV show host.

So can a singer sing as good as Sinatra? One thing’s for sure, he’s doing what no other Sinatra singer has done before; captured the tone and amazing syncopation of Sinatra.  His remarkable vocal range and breath control are sending shock waves through the crooning world, and will be for years to come.

Steve’s pursuits have fulfilled Mr. Sinatra’s request to develop his art, and have led him to higher and greater standards. His dream is to keep Frank's music alive for future generations to celebrate.
